ORUS is Icarus Swarms’ collaborative multi-domain command-and-control system. It enables a single operator to launch, monitor, and supervise complex missions involving UAVs, USVs, and UGVs with a high level of safety, resilience, and scalability.
Who is ORUS for?
ORUS is built for defense, security, and institutional users operating in demanding environments and needing to deploy, coordinate, and scale multiple robotic platforms.
For drone manufacturers and operators, integrating ORUS turns a drone into an autonomous platform capable of operating alone or as part of a swarm, including alongside other ORUS-enabled drones. It also makes the platform immediately compatible with armed forces and other organizations already using ORUS.
For system integrators, ORUS provides a common software layer that makes it possible to integrate a wide range of robotic platforms without having to redesign the core software each time. Today, ORUS supports 15 different drone models, 5 USVs, and 5 UGVs, with a target of 100 supported drone models by the end of 2026.
What kinds of missions can your systems support?
Icarus Swarms supports a broad range of missions including ISR, electronic warfare, real-time photogrammetry, land mine detection, radioactivity mapping, persistent video surveillance, infrared illumination, counter-drone system evaluation, and drone-versus-drone operations.
Can your systems detect points of interest automatically?
Yes. Icarus Swarms develops automatic detection capabilities for points of interest such as humans, vehicles, and other relevant objects, helping operators build situational awareness faster.
Which platforms are currently supported?
For UAV, publicly listed supported platforms include Parrot Bebop 2, Parrot Bebop 3, Parrot Anafi 1, Parrot Anafi Thermal, Parrot Anafi USA, Hexadrone Tundra 2, Hexadrone Gekko XL, Drotek Iostar 2 & 3, Per Se Systems SL450 NG, and Icarus Swarms Pulsar.
This list is increasing every month.
Do you provide software only, or complete solutions?
Icarus Swarms provides software-driven solutions and can also support ready-to-deploy operational systems depending on mission needs and platform configuration.
